COME TOGETHER – CULTURAL NETWORK ALPS ADRIATIC" is a project of 3 culture initiatives from Slovenia, Hungary and Austria. The goal is to build a network between artists and cultural workers within the Alps Adriatic Area.
Am 10. November um 16 Uhr rufen KünstlerInnen und BürgerInnen die Europäische Republik von Balkonen in Theatern und öffentlichen Räumen in ganz Europa aus!
Im Zuge des European Balcony Projects wird auch die ART MACHINE am Pöllauer Hauptplatz in der Oststeiermark vorübergehend zu einer Plattform für "Europäische Kunst und Kultur".
Sonst den KünstlerInnen und deren Kunstwerken als Miniaturen im ehemaligen umgebauten Zigarettenautomaten, wird ART MACHINE ab 10. November auch Zitate oder Statements von Kunst- und Kulturorganisationen aus ganz Europa beinhalten!
ART MACHINE GOES EUROPEAN: Manifest, Performance und Come Together am 10. November 2018 um 16:00 Uhr am Hauptplatz in Pöllau

Performativ wird ein kurzes Manifest von Ulrike Guérot, Robert Menasse und Milo Rau vorgelesen. Mit dieser Aktion wollen wir den Weg für den emanzipatorischen Anspruch auf bürgerliche Gleichheit in Europa jenseits des Nationalstaates ebnen. Es ist auch eine Hommage an Jean Monnet, der immer gesagt hat:
"In Europa geht es nicht darum, Staaten zu integrieren, sondern darum, Menschen zu vereinen."
From balconies in theatres and other public spaces all over the Europe, the artists and citizens will performatively proclaim the European Republic and read a short manifesto on the 10th of November at 4 pm 2018!
In the course of European Balcony Projects the ART MACHINE, placed on the main square of Pöllau in Eastern Styria, will temporarily presesnt a Plattform for "European Art and Culture."
The artists and their miniatur artisic objects, which are available in modified cigarette vending machine named ART MACHINE, will contain Statements or artistic lines from artistic and culture organisations from all over the Europe!

A Manifesto of Ulrike Guérot, Robert Menasse and Milo Rau will be read. With this action we aim to pave the way for the emancipatory claim to civic equality in Europe beyond the nation state. It is also a tribute to Jean Monnet, who always said:
"Europa is not about integrating states, but about uniting people."
