Event description

The Silent Walk is a short hike in silence, which is interrupted at selected places by consciously standing still and reading mindfulness impulses & food for thought. The aim is to open the senses, to focus attention on the here and now, to be fully in the moment in order to rediscover something new in an area that may already be familiar.

By walking together in silence, we also create a basis that consists of an inner calm or emptiness, on which the sounds of the piano and the voice of Ángela Tröndle will later take their place. The Silent Walk ends in the castle's fresco hall, where it will lead directly into improvisation, compositions and soundscapes.

Ángela Tröndle, born in Salzburg in 1983, grew up in a family of musicians and enjoyed a varied musical education in her childhood and youth. The creative environment that she later encountered at the Musisches Gymnasium influenced her in many ways and brought her into contact with other arts. From 2001 to 2010, she studied music education, jazz singing and jazz composition at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. In addition to her musical projects, Tröndle has always attached great importance to collaborating with artists from other disciplines, for example with the visual artist Daniel Domig and the dancer and choreographer Mirjam Klebel.
