Programming Europe - creative programming workshop

Using Scratch, a programming language specially developed for children, young computer enthusiasts between the ages of 10 and 15 create computer games independently by combining building blocks and codes. They also experiment with different types of robots that follow their commands. The young people deal with the following topics: The children receive artistic and technical support from media artist Cym - Simone van Groenestijn, while staff from the European Department of the Province of Styria provide input and answers to the participants' questions.

The youth workshop took place from 16 - 20 August 2021 at Ökopark Hartberg with 18 young participants.
