Workshop description:
Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of ceramics and discover the deep connection between form and emotion.
In my workshop, the focus is initially on shaping - because a successful form can tell stories and touch our innermost being. This is not just about technique, but about dialog with the material clay. We work in a process-oriented way and are guided by our feelings. What triggers joy and "delight” in us is the focus of our creative work. The vessel you create becomes a three-dimensional canvas on which the inside and outside enter into a relationship. You use structures, lines, colors and surfaces to shape the surface and create a work that bears your own personal signature. Let yourself be inspired by the magic of clay and create unique ceramics that are more than just vessels - they are an expression of your soul.
The workshop takes place in the ceramist's studio - a 250-year-old, brightly lit vaulted cellar and the Big Glass Door Studio with a view of the Pöllauberg.

Workshopleader
Sieglinde Hofbauer was born in Eastern Styria. She lives and works in Pöllau near Hartberg.
She received a "Diploma in Arts - Major Ceramics” recognized by the Austrian government after an 8-year stay and 3-year studies at the Sydney Institute of Technology in Australia. Her stay in Australia is reflected in her art. The influence of two worlds shapes her ceramic art and turns it into special works.
