Workshop description:

Let's discover together how music is created from a fun game. Join us on an exciting journey into the diverse world of voice, rhythm and sound and let Ilse's voice and her many years of experience enchant you.

We begin our fantasy journey with elementary music-making and a selection of rhythmic instruments. Through children's songs and classical songs, she will lead us to our very own sound - do you already know it, your own sound? We create a space for creative activity and playfully promote individual musical development.

The contents at a glance are Making music with rhythmic instruments according to Carl Orff, finger and clapping games, songs, movement and dance games, as well as gaining a variety of sensory experiences. We make our own small musical instruments to take home with us.

Please bring along:

Enjoy making music and trying things out
Non-slip socks or slippers
Sounding objects such as empty yogurt cups and empty toilet paper rolls
Single-simmer jar lids in various sizes
Crayons

€ 156,-

Workshop leader

Ilse Persy is a mezzo-soprano and was born in Vienna in 1974. There she completed her studies in solo singing and technical mathematics. As a classical singer, she regularly performs on concert stages, primarily with opera and song recitals, and also appears with interactive children's song programs in children's cultural centers and schools. She lives with her family, a dog and the four "Hernalser Hühnerdamen” on the outskirts of Vienna, where she also organizes children's courses and teaches children the joy of music in schools. The content of her children's courses covers a broad spectrum from "Singing and Sounding”, "Elementary Music Making”, "Rhythmics made easy” to "Playfully becoming a math pro”, combining early mathematical education with music. She is always open to new creative ideas!

Life motto according to Albert Einstein: "Imagination is more important than knowledge, because knowledge is limited.”
