Workshop description:

Discover the world of live visuals! In this workshop you will learn the basics of the Resolume Arena program. You can use it to add visuals to events such as parties, concerts or readings, arrange different video clips into an overall composition in a similar way to how a DJ combines his music tracks into a set and project them onto different surfaces using a projector. Of course, playback on a screen and control of other light effect technology is also possible.

We start with the user interface and the basic functions for creating your own visuals. You will then learn techniques for using video clips for impressive projections and projection mapping. After the workshop, you will be able to edit visuals and map them precisely onto any surface - perfect for events, stages or installations! This workshop is not about producing your own content/video clips. You are welcome to bring your own content to the workshop if you have it. Please note: File format: MOV. (clips, preferably in loop)Participation in the workshop with your own laptop/computer is an advantage. A test version of "Resolume Arena 7” must be downloaded to your own computer before the workshop.beginners welcome!
