Sunday, 21 April, 15:00 on the main square in Pöllau
At this year's vernissage, the Art Machine in Pöllau welcomes not only the six participating artists but also musical guests who will be travelling there with the ‘Opernpucherl’, a mini orchestra from Graz University of the Arts and singers from Graz Opera, who will be making a stop in Pöllau on 21 April to surprise people of all ages with the first part of the saga of the mountain ghost from the Schöckl as a miniature opera. The motto is: opera in the countryside, mobile, lively and very close to the audience
Styrian harmonica, viola, clarinet and tuba are the instruments of a mini-orchestra made up of musicians from the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. Together with two singers from Graz Opera, they perform the Styrian legend of the mountain ghost of Schöckl using musical and theatrical means.
The one-hour performance leads on to the presentation of the new Art Machine artworks and their artists.
