The meeting was held under the motto of FRAUEN*MÄRZ 2024 and the Styrian alliance 0803: ‘We care! Responsibility and justice for all’. Women from 10 different countries took part. The mayor of Pöllau, Josef Pfeifer, and local councillor Heidemarie Stalzer were on hand to give welcoming speeches.
In stimulating conversations in a respectful atmosphere, those present talked about personal, professional and socio-political issues, with a particular focus on the question: What do women who have moved to Pöllau want from us, how can the network of women be supportive?
Felicitas Fröhlich, author and illustrator, documented the workshop professionally and literarily, Sabrina Petz, Graphic designer and photographer, accompanied the workshop professionally and attentively with layout and photography. Edith Zitz, Projekt Anerkannt! took part in the meeting with a view to the recognition of skills brought along and labour market integration. Michaela Zingerle, Styrian Summer Art and Women s Action Forum, Astrid Krogger, 12er Haus, Sieglinde Hofbauer, ceramist and Maria Loidl, adult educator and organic farmer, spoke on behalf of the network.
The women*'s meeting was a cooperation between Styrian Summer Art, the Bündnis 0803, dem 12er Haus in Pöllau and Projekt "Anerkannt!".
Felicitas Fröhlich presented a literary summary of the results of the meeting at the subsequent feld*stellen event on Pöllau's main square, which was organised by Heidrun Primas.
