Workshop description
We will take an in-depth look at the properties and possibilities of painting with watercolors. In exercises we will explore the relationship between water and paint and learn about the different effects of watercolor painting. After a few loosening exercises with brushes of different widths and lots of water, we will create a simple pencil sketch of our motif.
By painting in layers, which should dry in between, the transparency of the colors comes into effect and creates depth. We can also go out in search of a motif and set up in front of it to paint.
"I see it as a basic human need to express oneself in color and form, often the only question is: how do I do it? My task is to stimulate this creative process and to accompany it in terms of content and technique.”
